How to Apply Pocket Salon One Step Gel

Step 1: Prep Your Nails

• Wash and dry your hands.
• Gently push back your cuticles.
• Lightly buff the natural nail surface to remove shine.
• Clean the nail with an alcohol wipe or nail cleanser to remove oil and dust.

Proper nail preparation is the key to long-lasting wear.

Step 2: Apply the Gel

Apply a thin, even coat of Pocket Salon One Step Gel.

Avoid getting the gel on your skin or cuticles.

Tip: Thin coats cure more effectively and provide a smoother finish.

Step 3: Cure

Place your nails under a compatible UV/LED nail lamp.

• Light and medium shades: Cure for 60 seconds.
• Dark or highly pigmented shades: Cure for 90 seconds for thorough curing.

Always apply thin coats and cure each coat separately.

Step 4: Apply a Second Coat

For richer color, better coverage, and a more even finish, we recommend applying a second thin coat.

Cure again:

• 60 seconds for light and medium shades
• 90 seconds for dark or highly pigmented shades

Two thin coats are recommended for the best salon-quality finish.

Step 5: Finish

That's it — your manicure is ready!

For extra protection, durability, and shine, you may optionally apply a top coat.

How to Remove Your One Step Gel

Removing your One Step Gel is simple. For healthy natural nails, never peel, pick, or force the gel off.

Method 1: Gel Remover Wraps — Recommended

The easiest way to remove your gel at home.

1. Buff – Gently file away the shine from the gel surface.
2. Wrap – Place the remover pad directly onto your nail and secure the wrap around your fingertip.
3. Soak – Leave on for 10–15 minutes.
4. Remove – Gently push away the softened gel with a cuticle stick or cuticle pusher.

After removal, apply cuticle oil to help moisturize your nails and cuticles.

Method 2: File Off

Prefer not to use remover? You can also file off your One Step Gel.

1. File – Use a 150/180 grit nail file to gently remove the gel.
2. Buff – As you get close to your natural nail, switch to a softer buffer.
3. Care – Remove any dust and finish with cuticle oil.
