️ Professional Application Steps
Achieve a flawless, durable manicure using our recommended professional method that lasts 30+ days.
Prep: Start with clean, dry nails. Gently push back cuticles and lightly buff your natural nail surface.
Bond (Glue): Apply a small, even layer of Ellie Young Nail Glue to your natural nail and the base of the ProTip underside.
Press: Align the ProTip with your cuticle at a 45-degree angle. Press firmly from the cuticle area towards the tip, ensuring no air bubbles are trapped. Hold for 15-30 seconds until securely bonded.
Strengthen (Builder Gel): Apply a thin layer of Ellie Young Builder Gel over the entire surface of the applied nail tip. This adds professional salon thickness and prevents the tip from bending.
Cure: Cure the builder gel layer under a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds.
Seal & Shine: Apply a final Ellie Young Top Coat to seal the French tip edges and achieve a high-shine, scratch-resistant finish. Cure for a final 60 seconds.
Pro Tip for Longevity: For a maximum bond, avoid water or steam for at least 2 hours after application. This allows the glue to fully crystallise and bond.
Really nice quality nails. Loved the style, loved how easy they were to do. They lasted me 2 weeks and would have lasted longer but I wanted a different set to try.
For whatever reason each of the thumb nails are really thin. Much thinner than any of the other nails, and enough so that the glue soaked through on one of them. The remaining one was super uneven, so while I was able to apply it, it sticks up on one side.
